The original second floor sitting room became a bedroom after the house was tri-plexed in 1935. Cece Taylor-Rice recalls that her Aunt
Eleanor used to push chairs up to the bed to keep her from falling out of bed during the night, even though she was a teenager when she visited. During the restoration, the room was converted back to a sitting room, and it contains a chandelier that was given to the Tucker family by a former student of Eleanor's, Kay Dinwidee.
