The Taylor House: Second Floor sitting room

The original second floor sitting room became a bedroom after the house was tri-plexed in 1935. Cece Taylor-Rice recalls that her Aunt The sitting roomEleanor used to push chairs up to the bed to keep her from falling out of bed during the night, even though she was a teenager when she visited. During the restoration, the room was converted back to a sitting room, and it contains a chandelier that was given to the Tucker family by a former student of Eleanor's, Kay Dinwidee.
